OUR EXECUTIVE TEAM
Our executive team consists of five women who have 60 years of Youth Ministry experience between us. We have dedicated ourselves to being a voice for our children and teens and to helping raise the awareness of the importance of these programs in our ministries.
Our children and teens are a part of our current congregation and they deserve the same respect; paid, trained leaders; and in-depth programs that exist in all other areas of our ministries.
We are equipping our children to look past appearances; to seek the TRUTH in every situation; and to recognize and honor the Christ within each individual. What more important job could we have? Our children will be the ones to set the tone for the future.
PROGRAMS & SERVICES OFFERED
Conferences / Trainings
We currently offer an annual Children, Youth and Family Ministry conference located in the Chicago area. The Conference offers workshops and programs designed to enhance Youth and Family Ministry within the Unity and New Thought community.
The presenters are from the Association of Unity Churches, Religious Science, Global New Thought and others of like mind. The activities focus on family ministry, curriculum writing, working with children and teens, self-discovery, prayer & meditation and coming together to create a vision that will empower our children, youth and families to recognize their potential and live their dreams.
The presenters are asked to provide interactive workshops that give the participants a direct experience of the topic. The participants will then receive instruction on how they can use this information in their own individual programs.
The Conference has an attendance of more than 100 people from all across the United States and Jamaica. The attendees are parents, Youth Ministry workers, teachers, ministers and Board members. It was funded solely by Conference fees collected. This Conference provides funds that allow us to move our vision forward.
